Account & Data Deletion

Request deletion of your account and all associated data from JobQuote.

Important: This Action Cannot Be Undone

Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data from our systems. Please read the information below carefully before proceeding.

  • Your account will be permanently deleted
  • All your quotes, jobs, and client data will be removed
  • Active subscriptions will be cancelled
  • This action cannot be reversed

What Gets Deleted

Data Removed

  • Personal account information
  • All quotes and job records
  • Client and contact information
  • Business settings and preferences
  • Payment methods and billing history
  • Uploaded documents and files
  • Communication history
  • Custom templates and configurations

Data Retained

  • Legal and compliance records (required by law)
  • Financial transaction records (tax purposes)
  • Aggregated, anonymised analytics
  • Security logs (fraud prevention)

Retention period: Up to 7 years for financial records as required by UK tax law.

Deletion Timeline

Request Received

We'll send a confirmation email to verify your identity and ensure the request is legitimate.

7-Day Grace Period

You have 7 days to change your mind. During this time, your account is deactivated but data remains recoverable.

Permanent Deletion

After 7 days, all your data will be permanently deleted from our active systems (excluding legally required records).

Backup Removal

Your data will be removed from backup systems within 30 days of the deletion request.

  • Cancel Subscription: Keep your account active but cancel your paid subscription to stop charges
  • Export Data: Download all your data before deletion for your records
  • Deactivate Account: Temporarily disable your account while keeping your data
